DayStrider: Tales from a Time Traveler

Bonus Episode: Ukulele Day Full Interview with Kamuke

Truman Pastworthy w/ Cameron Murray

This is the very first DayStrider Bonus Episode - in honor of World Ukulele Day!  A day to celebrate the small but amazingly fun instrument that sounds like no other.  Who knew this tiny treasure could produce so many smiles and bring such joy?!?!

The ukulele evolved into being in Hawaii - and you can learn all about that story in this bonus episode.  Kamuke - a world traveling ukulele player, song writer, content creator and uke teacher joins us to help us celebrate Ukulele Day.  You will hear about many of the artists who made the uke famous, you will hear him perform some improv as a weathercaster with his uke, and at the very end of the show, you will hear one of his most intense original songs off of his Mixed business album called Supersonic Rainbow.

This is the very first DayStrider Bonus Episode featuring the full-length interview that was highlighted in Episode 7:  February 2nd:  Sometimes Crazy is Genius.  Make sure to check that episode out as well to learn about Woodchuck Weathercasting & a Tasty Po-Tater Treat!

Enjoy!

I mentioned two ways to get in touch with Kamuke, here they are (these links worked in early 2024 - not sure how long the links will be available):
